Solutions for Case Management and Document Management Help Customers Better Drive Efficiencies and Achieve Rapid Return on Investment
PHILADELPHIA, AIIM Conference, EMC Booth #825 – March 31, 2009 – EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, today announced two new enterprise content management (ECM) solutions — helping customers to more quickly deploy content-enabled applications that drive better business efficiency and realize more rapid return on their investments (ROI). Covering case management and document management, the new solutions include:
- A new EMC Documentum® Case Management Solution Framework, which substantially accelerates the development of case management applications
- EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender® 6 with new modules for workflow and retention management
In addition, EMC will conduct the first true demonstration of an implementation of Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) in its booth #825. Announced in September 2008, CMIS is a jointly developed specification which uses Web Services and Web 2.0 interfaces to enable applications to interoperate with multiple ECM repositories from different vendors.
