Alterian, a content management system (CMS) enterprise, recently released version 5.9.5 of their technology that boasts the ability to build “engaging, highly relevant and accessible websites,” according the press release.
The CMS Company launched the new version in an effort to provide business owners with the ability to alter their websites without the help of web technicians. Alterian’s CMS version 5.9.5 will allow businesses to take further ownership of their online presence.
The Alterian platform features tools that facilitate campaign management, web content management, email and social media monitoring tools. The technology works in conjunction with 150 marketing services partners, system integrators and agencies.
The CMS Company also updated their editorial interface to eliminate the need to switch back and forth between the interface and the administrative interface. A graphical workflow representation has also been added to the applications UI front. Basically, thanks to Alterian, content management just got a little easier.

Key U.S.-based Partnership Signs First Joint Customer

CHICAGO – March 3, 2009 – Alterian (LSE: ALN), a leading international integrated marketing platform provider, and Lokion, a full-service design and interactive agency, announced a partnership through which Alterian Content Management will be available to Lokion’s customers. The first joint client, Stephens, Inc., a privately held, full-service investment banking firm, went live with its website, www.stephens.com in Fall 2008.

Lokion, with its diversified roster of mid- to enterprise-sized customers, was interested in adding Web Content Management products to its portfolio that would meet a wide range of client needs. Through its partnership with Alterian, Lokion can recommend, implement, enhance and train corporate users of Alterian Content Management, helping them build and run sophisticated intranets, extranets, websites and other digital channels.
